On the 7th of November 2024, the PG and Research Department of English at K.A.H.M Unity Women’s College was honored to host an insightful invited talk by Mr. Yousuf Vallanjira on the art of Public Speaking. This event, organized as part of the Association Programme, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members .He began by highlighting the importance of confidence and preparation, emphasizing that thorough knowledge of the subject matter and practice are crucial for successful presentations. He also shared valuable tips on how to engage the audience, use body language effectively, and manage anxiety. The talk was interactive, with Mr. Yousuf encouraging questions and discussions from the audience. This approach not only made the session lively but also provided attendees with practical insights that they could apply in their own public speaking endeavors. His anecdotes and real-life examples added a relatable dimension to the session, making the content more accessible and impactful.The session concluded with a vote of thanks from Diya A ,Executive member of the Association who expressed gratitude to Mr. Yousuf for sharing his expertise and inspiring the students. The participants left with a better understanding of public speaking skills and a renewed enthusiasm to improve their own abilities.
