CAREER ORIENTATION PROGRAMME “Shape Your Future”
The B.COM CA Association of the PG Department of Commerce, KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, organized a Career Orientation Programme titled “Shape Your Future” on 28 January 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM venue at A301The programme was hosted by Elance Learning, a reputed Indian commerce education institute known for training students in globally recognized professional courses such as ACCA (Platinum Approved Partner), CMA USA (Gold Provider), and CA. The aim of the session was to create awareness among commerce students about professional career opportunities available after graduation.The resource persons from Elance Learning provided detailed guidance on international and national professional qualifications in commerce. They explained the structure, eligibility criteria, examination pattern, and career prospects of courses like ACCA and CMA USA, along with insights into the Chartered Accountancy pathway. The speakers emphasized the importance of skill enhancement, industry readiness, and early career planning to succeed in the professional world.
The session was interactive and engaging. Students actively participated and clarified their doubts regarding course duration, fee structure, global recognition, and job opportunities. The speakers motivated students to identify their interests and strengths before choosing a career path and highlighted how professional certifications can open doors to global employment opportunities.
The programme was coordinated by Faculty Coordinator Ms. Febi Jishana K, Assistant Professor (ADHOC), PG Department of Commerce, and Student Coordinator Fathima Anjala V.P, 4th Semester B.Com CA. Their dedicated efforts ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the programme.
The “Shape Your Future” Career Orientation Programme was highly informative and inspiring. It broadened students’ awareness of professional courses in commerce and encouraged them to plan their future careers with clarity, confidence, and determination.
