Workshop on “Research Methodology: Data analysis and Report Writing”
Department of Commerce, KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri in association with UNICOSA (Unity Commerce Alumnae Association) organized a Workshop on “Research Methodology: Data analysis and Report Writing” on 24th October 2025, 9.30 a.m. at Arya Bhatta Hall. The main aim of this programme was to explore alumni resources for enhancing the knowledge level of students. It also aimed to improve the research aptitude of students by providing them with practical insights into research methods, data analysis, and report preparation.
The function began with the welcome address of Mrs. Haseena Jasmine CK, Assistant Professor of Commerce (B.Com, 1998-2001 batch). The session was inaugurated by Mrs. Fathima Shajitha, Head and Associate Professor, who highlighted the importance of developing strong research and analytical skills among students to meet academic and professional challenges. Ms. Fathima shaban 3rd Semester M. Com, rendered the vote of thanks.
Dr. Sameera P, Assistant Professor of Commerce, PSMO College (Autonomous), Tirurangadi, (Alumna, B. Com, 2003-2006 batch) a distinguished scholar in the field of research methodology was the resource person. She explained the various aspects of research design, methods of data collection, tools of analysis, and techniques of effective report writing. Her session was particularly inspiring as she shared her own academic journey and experiences, motivating students to pursue research with dedication and curiosity.
The programme was coordinated by Mrs. Haseena Jasmine CK, Assistant Professor of Commerce and Ms. Fathima Lubna K, Fifth Semester B.Com Co-operation.
