The Department of Commerce at KAHM Unity Women's College, in collaboration with the ED Club and Seethi Sahib Chair For Cultural & Political Studies, successfully organized an Entrepreneurship Awareness Program titled "Entrepreneurship: Possibilities and Challenges" on 21st August, 2025, at  CH Auditorium.
The program commenced with a warm welcome address by Ms. T.K Fathima Shajitha, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Commerce, setting the tone for a day of insightful discussions. This was followed by a presidential address by the principal Prof.(Dr.) Muhammed Basheer Ummathoor,  who emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship in today's dynamic world.
The Inaugural Address was delivered by Mr. Ali Hassan, Founder and MD of Professional Business Group, who shared his expertise and experiences in entrepreneurship. His talk provided valuable insights into the possibilities and challenges of entrepreneurship, offering practical takeaways for the audience. Dr. Abdul Rof. V, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Mathematics, and Director of Seethi Sahib Chair for Cultural & Political Studies felicitated the program.
The program also included a meritorious award distribution ceremony, recognizing outstanding achievements of the students.
The highlight of the event was the interactive session with Mr. Ali Hassan, which provided a valuable opportunity for students to engage with the resource person and gain insights into entrepreneurship. The session was engaging, and the audience benefited greatly from Mr. Hassan's experiences and advice.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Farseena Jabeen.K, Faculty Co-ordinator and Assistant Professor of Commerce, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, speakers, and participants for making the event a grand success. Overall, the entrepreneurship awareness program was a resounding success, achieving its objective of promoting entrepreneurship awareness and inspiring students to pursue entrepreneurial ventures.
