PG Department of Commerce(CA) organized a Quiz Competition in celebration of Indian Tax Day on July 25, 2025. The event was held at Room No. A301, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from final year students of the department.
The quiz aimed to create awareness and enhance knowledge about the Indian taxation system among students. The questions covered various aspects of Direct and Indirect Taxes, GST, Income Tax Act, recent tax reforms, and important tax dates.
The competition began at 2:50 PM with an introductory session by the faculty coordinator Jumana M, who highlighted the significance of observing Indian Tax Day, which commemorates the introduction of income tax in India. A total of 10 teams consisting of 4 members each participated in the competition.The team comprising Rinfa EK,
Nihala Sharin emerged as the winners of the competition, demonstrating excellent knowledge and teamwork.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Student Coordinator Thasleema P appreciating the efforts of all the participants, and faculty members for making the event a success.
