Commerce Association's Inauguration

The Commerce Association's Inauguration Ceremony was held on January 31, 2025, at 2:00 PM in CH Auditorium. The event marked the official commencement of the association's activities and was attended by esteemed guests, faculty members, and students.

The ceremony began with a Welcome note by Ms.Muhsina T,Assistant Professor,Department of Commerce.Presidential Address was delivered by Ms. Fatima Shajitha TK,Associate professor  and HOD of Commerce . She outlined the association's vision and plans for the upcoming year, emphasizing the importance of teamwork, leadership, and community service.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Chief Guest, Dr. Shahanas Beegum PP ,Assistant professor ,HOD and Research Supervisor at MES Mampad College, whose insightful address inspired the audience. Principal, Prof.(Dr)Muhammed Basheer Ummathur, also delivered a thought-provoking address, emphasizing the importance of extracurricular activities in shaping the minds of young professionals.

A special segment of the ceremony was dedicated to honoring the Commerce Department Achievers, who were recognized and felicitated for their outstanding academic achievements in this academic year.
They are: 
1. Nandana Das(Sixth Semester B.Com Co-operation) -First Prize in Monoact and Pookalam.
2. ⁠Krishna KR ( Sixth Semester B.Com Co-operation)-First Prize in Pookalam.
3. ⁠CPL Sfitha for being selected to Army Adventure Activity Camp.
This gesture served as a motivation to the students, encouraging them to strive for excellence.

Felicitations were also given by esteemed faculty members and student leaders, including Ms. Farseena Jabeen, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce; Ms. Murshila, HOD&Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce(CA) and Yusra, General Secretary of  Zelinda Students Union. Their words of encouragement and support added depth and meaning to the ceremony.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Fatima Lubna , who expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, Principal, faculty members, and students for making the event a success.

The inauguration ceremony was a significant milestone for the Commerce Association, and we look forward for achieving greater heights in the future.
