Pleasure trip to Goa and Malvan
The Department of Commerce organized a memorable pleasure trip to Goa and Malvan, Maharashtra, from 6th January 2025 to 9th January 2025, with thirty-seven students of B. Com Co-operation and two escorting faculty members from the department. The primary aim of this program was to provide participants with an enriching blend of relaxation, exploration and cultural immersion.
The trip began with a visit to the vibrant beaches and historical landmarks of Goa, where the group enjoyed the serene beauty of Anjuna Beach, explored the iconic Aguada Fort, Sinquerim Lower Fort, and the picturesque Chapora Fort, and concluded the day with a lively evening at Baga Beach.
On the second day, the participants embarked on an exciting Island Tour, indulging in thrilling water sports. They enjoyed a variety of adventures, including scuba diving, jet skiing, parasailing, bumper rides, and a sleeping bumper ride.
On the third day, the participants explored the region's rich Portuguese heritage in South Goa. The group visited significant landmarks such as the Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral, and St. Augustine’s Church. The students also enjoyed shopping for local souvenirs and wrapped up the day with a serene visit to Colva Beach.
This trip not only offered participants a perfect mix of leisure and adventure but also provided an invaluable opportunity to appreciate the cultural and natural beauty of Goa and Malvan. The combination of historical exploration, beach activities, and water sports made it an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
