Flashback – Alumni Fest 2025

The Unity College Alumni Association (UCAA), in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), successfully organized the 'Flashback – Alumni Fest 2025' on February 21, 2025, at the CH Auditorium, K.A.H.M. Unity Women's College, Manjeri. The event, dedicated to reliving cherished memories and fostering the bond among alumnae, faculty, and current students, began with an official inauguration by Mr. Yashik Mecheri, Councilor of Manjeri Municipality and Chairman of the Standing Committee for Arts, Sports, and Education. Dr. Jamsheena V., Secretary of UCAA, delivered a warm welcome address emphasizing alumni engagement, followed by the presidential address by Dr. A.K. Shahina Mol, UCAA Treasurer, who highlighted the role of alumnae in inspiring future generations. Prof. Dr. Muhammed Basheer Ummathur, the Principal, and Janab O. Abdul Ali, the College Manager, extended their greetings and acknowledged the contributions of the alumni. The felicitation session featured Dr. Usman (Teaching Staff Representative), Mr. Yousuf (Non-Teaching Staff Representative), and Ms. Fidha (Chairperson of Zelinda Students Union 2024-2025), with a special honor presented to Ms. Salmath Bindhya, an entrepreneur and UCAA executive member, recognizing her significant achievements. The fest included a variety of engaging activities such as a Food Fair showcasing culinary delights, a Free Wellness Checkup providing health services, Sale Stalls promoting women entrepreneurs, Cultural Performances by alumni and students, and an Exhibition displaying innovative projects. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Salmath Bindhya, who expressed gratitude to the organizing team and participants. The 'Flashback – Alumni Fest 2025' successfully fostered alumni engagement, promoted women entrepreneurs, and provided current students with valuable insights and inspiration from successful alumnae. The event reinforced the vision of K.A.H.M. Unity Women's College to "Build an Egalitarian Society Through Women Empowerment" and strengthened the bonds between past and present members of the college community.
