SS Special Camp 'Punarjani' - Session 22: Sukrtham Project - Snehabhavanam 4: Fund Collection
On the fifth day of NSS 7-day residential camp, the dedicated team of students embarked on a mission to collect funds for the "Snehabavanam 4" as part of Sukrtham Project on 25th December 2024 at 10 AM. This initiative aims to build a house for the most deserving student of KAHM Unity Women’s College, and the method of fundraising involved distributing and collecting money through coupons.
The day began with a briefing session where students were informed about the importance of the project by Snehabhavanam treasurer, Mr Muhammed Ali Kanniyan. Teams were assigned specific areas to cover, including nearby houses and towns.
With a strong sense of purpose, the students visited local households and town areas. They engaged with community members, explaining the project's goals and encouraging donations. Each team noted the donations received. The students exhibited exceptional communication skills, sharing the vision of "Snehabavanam 4" with potential donors.
By the end of the day, our students had successfully collected a remarkable total of ₹30,000. Notably, Sadhiya and Nishana stood out for their exceptional efforts, contributing the highest amounts to the total collection. The day witnessed the power of collective effort and community spirit.
