Republic Day Programme By NSS.
NSS Units 171 & 008 of KAHM Unity Women’s College organized a successful quiz program , essay writing competition and Wall painting on January 25th, 2024, in celebration of Republic Day. Quiz Program took place at Azaadi Square and showcased the college’s commitment to fostering knowledge and patriotism among the community.
Quiz Program began with a warm welcome to NSS Secretary, Mrs. Sadhiya. Principal Dr. Mohammed Basheer Ummathur inaugurated the program, followed by a talk on Republic Day by NSS Program Officer Dr. Hikmathulla V. Ms. Rasma hosted an interactive quiz session with the audience, engaging participants in thought-provoking questions related to Republic Day.Ms. Fidha concluded the program with a heartfelt vote of thanks.
Essay Writing Competition: Engaging Theme:The competition challenged participants to explore the “Importance of the Indian Constitution.” Active Participation: A large number of children participated in the competition, demonstrating their understanding and appreciation for the nation’s fundamental law. Winners: Ms. Fathima Thasni (Malayalam) and Ms. Reema Nazar (English) emerged as the winners, receiving recognition for their insightful essays.
Wall Painting : Creative Expression: NSS volunteers showcased their artistic talent by painting a mural on the wall, depicting themes related to Republic Day. Collaborative Effort:This activity was led by a dedicated team of volunteers, including Ms. Sreerudra, Ms. Naseeba, Ms. Fathima Dilsha, Ms. Fathima Nidha, Ms. Devika, Ms. Sadhiya, Ms. Devi Krishna, and Ms. Sneha Mol.
Overall, the Republic Day program hosted by NSS Units 171 & 008 was a resounding success. It provided a platform for learning, reflection, and creative expression, while fostering a sense of national pride and civic responsibility among participants.
