NSS Special Camp 'Punarjani' - Session 24: Sukrtham Project - Vayojana Sangamam
On the fifth day of the NSS 7-day residential camp, a heartwarming event titled VAYOJANA SANGAMAM was conducted as part of the Sukrtham project. The session began at 12:00 PM and was attended by elderly members from the 46th ward of Manjeri Municipality and the 5th ward of Pookkottoor Panchayath.
NSS Secretary, Fathima Rasha warmly welcomed the aged people. The event was designed to honor and engage with the elderly, providing them with an enjoyable and memorable experience.
The volunteers sang beautiful songs, entertaining the elderly and bringing smiles to their faces. The event also included a special segment where the elderly were invited to sing their favorite songs and share cherished childhood memories with the volunteers.
The volunteers' efforts to create a joyful and respectful environment were evident in the positive responses and happiness of the elderly participants. The event concluded with heartfelt thanks from NSS Secretaries, Hana Fathima, Sadhiya Sherin and Fathima Hashim, leaving everyone with a sense of fulfillment and warmth.
