NSS units 008 and 171 of KAHM Unity Women's College, Manjeri affiliated to University of Calicut conducted a financial literacy awarness session on 9th September under the guidance of the Reserve Bank of India. Ms Hana Fathima NSS secretary, hosted the programme. The session was welcomed by Dr Faseela P, NSS programme officer. The session was inaugurated by The Principal, Prof. Dr. Muhammed Basheer Ummathur. The session was lead under the guidance of Mr. Titten MA, Lead bank manager, Malappuram. The session was lead by Mr. Muthukumar. M, Manager FIDD, Reserve Bank of India. The programme was made a huge success with the help of Mr. Nithin( Areekode Block Associate), Ms. Muhsinath( Malappuram Block Associate), Mr. Shibu (District Coordinator) and Mr. Haris U (NSS programme officer) . First of all, Ms. Muhsinath gave us an overview of the session. The main awareness session was then held by Mr.Muthukumar. In the session, he educated us on the importance of financial freedom and also walked us through some of the main fraud activities happening in our country. It was a great help to us as it helped us to be financially stable and taught us to save our money. He shared some tips and tricks to save and invest our money. At the end of the programme, they introduced us to a quiz about financial literacy and paired up some students and registered them for the quiz. It was a really helpful class for all the NSS volunteers and an eye opener to all the financial struggles and frauds happening in our country. 
      The session was then concluded by the vote of thanks of Ms. Hana Fathima, NSS secretary.
