CHILDREN’S DAY STAMP COLLECTION

The Kerala State Council for Child Welfare's Children's Day stamp collection is a significant fundraiser for their welfare activities. The initiative promotes coexistence and mutual help among children, encouraging them to support their peers in need, especially those who are orphaned or destitute.

The NCC Cadets of KAHM Unity Women's College, Manjeri, actively participated in the Children's Day stamp collection drive. Through their efforts (from 18th to 24th July 2024), they collected a total of Rs. 7,500 from students, teachers, parents, and local community members. The cadets distributed 500 stamps as part of this initiative.

The collected amount was handed over to the College Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Muhammed Basheer Ummathur. The funds were then transferred to the Child Welfare account, contributing to the council's welfare activities. A total of 70 cadets participated in the stamp collection. ANO Lt. Loosiya. KP and UO Afeela Sherin (V Sem BSc CS) were the faculty and student coordinators respectively.
