On August 23, 2024,as a part of National Space Day celebration, a quiz competition was conducted by Physics club to ignite curiosity and awareness about space exploration among students. The event, aimed at honoring India's achievements in space research, featured questions on various topics, including the history of ISRO, space missions, and general astronomy. Students from different departments participated enthusiastically, showcasing their knowledge and passion for space science. The competition not only provided a platform for young minds to learn and excel but also inspired them to contribute to the future of space exploration in India. Omniyah Ummer,Student Coordinator of Physics club was the quiz master. 16 teams participated in the competition. Ms.Fathima Sulthana P & Ms.Fathima Sana CK of III^rd Sem B.Sc Mathematics won the first prize; Ms.Nada V & Ms.Nisreen T.K of V^th Sem B.Sc Chemistry won the second prize and Ms.Fathima Midha K & Ms.Nourin C.K of of V^th Sem B.Sc Chemistry won the third prize. Cash prize to the winners was given away by the Principal, Dr.(Prof).Muhammed Basheer Ummathur. Mr.Muhammed Abdul Hakkeem, Head of the department of Physics and Mr.Sabeer V, Physics Club coordinator were present on the occasion.
