Forensic science: an insight
As part of 30th anniversary celebrations of our college, P.G. Department of Botany is decided to conduct a monthly Alumni Lecture Series to encourage and motivate our students.
Our first lecture on “Forensic science: an insight” was conducted on 28th August 2022, Sunday through google meet at 7 pm. The session was led by Dr.Thoibakottekkattu, scientific officer- biology, Regional forensic Science Laboratory, Thrissur, who is our one of the prominent alumni (2003-2006 Batch B.Sc. Botany). The programme was a great success and students got an opportunity to interact with the guest. She explained about the thrilling role of a scientific officer in proving crime issues and various circumstances faced. The programme co-ordinator, Mrs. Jusna Fairooz. P.K. welcomed the gathering, and Dr. Usman. A, HoD of the department presided over the function. In the absence of our college principal, Dr. Thoiba Kottekkattu inaugurated the function.
