“Chemistry: a spectrum of Opportunities”
Fifth Lecture of ‘Alumni Lecture Series’ was held on 27th May 2022, and the same was conducted by PG Department of Chemistry, KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri on the auspicious occasion of ‘30th Anniversary Celebrations’. This lecture was conducted through online platform- google meet at 9.00 pm. The main guest of the event was Ms. Ramees Jebin P., Senior Research Fellow at CSIR NIIST Trivandrum and Former student of our college in the batch 2012-2015. The programme starts with the Presidential address by Dr. Muhammed Basheer Ummathur, Associate Professor and Head, PG Department of Chemistry, KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri. The topic of the lecture was "Chemistry: a spectrum of Opportunities". Ramees Jebin shared important knowledge about the worldwide opportunities for a chemistry student. The whole programme was coordinated by Mrs. Suhada K.M., Assistant Professor, PG Department of Chemistry, KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri. and the programme was hosted by Dina Thaj from 5th Semester B.Sc. Chemistry. Finally, the vote of thanks was given by Ms. Safa. About 100 students participated in the programme and the session ended by 10.30 pm.
