Experience sharing and career guidance
The Experience Sharing and Career Guidance Session with Ms. Noora Beevi, an alumna of the BSc FCS (2009-12) and a Nutritionist at Fit Treat Couple, was held on February 6, 2020. The aim of the session was to provide a platform for students to learn from her experiences and gain insights into career opportunities in the field of Home Science. The session, coordinated by Layyina (V Sem BSc FCS) and Ms. Najma Chokli (Assistant Professor Adhoc), achieved its objectives of inspiring and motivating students to pursue higher education and career goals, providing guidance on career opportunities and professional development, and fostering a sense of community and networking among alumni, students, and faculty. As a result, students gained valuable insights, were motivated to explore career options, and benefited from them opportunity to ask questions and seek guidance. The session also provided a platform for students to network with an experienced alumna, and the Home Science Association and faculty gained a better understanding of industry expectations and alumni experiences.
