CLINICAL VISIT TO AVM HOSPITAL- THODUPUZHA, IDUKKI

On 22nd November 2024, 28 second-year B.Sc. Psychology students and 3 staff members visited AVM Hospital Thodupuzha, Idukki. The clinical visit provided practical exposure to students regarding the application of psychology in clinical settings, enhancing their understanding of psychiatric conditions, therapeutic approaches, and multidisciplinary collaboration. A 3-hour session was taken by Mr. Ullas, Senior Clinical Psychologist, who discussed the practical aspects of psychological practice, case handling, and the role of psychologists in clinical settings. The students were also introduced to the comprehensive range of specialized departments and its working.
