Theme of the event – Read and Grow (पढ़ें और बढ़ें)
Date – June 19th, 2025.
Objectives of this program – 
1.    Why is National Reading Day celebrated? – Its history and significance.
2.    To encourage good reading habits in the digital era.
3.    How to develop reading habits among students.
4.    Why should students read books instead of browsing or surfing online content?
5.    How reading books helps improve memory.
6.    How reading books enhances personality and communication skills.

Summary of the Event : A program entitled ‘Read and Grow’ was organized by the Department of Hindi Language on 19th June to mark National Reading Day. The aim of the program was to enhance the reading habits of students. Reading books not only provides knowledge but also develops logical thinking and helps individuals understand situations from multiple perspectives. It improves communication skills and contributes to the development of a well-rounded personality in society.
On this occasion, Assistant Professor of the Hindi Department, Mr. Mohd. Jahangeer, delivered a lecture highlighting the significance, history, and objectives of National Reading Day, as well as the importance of reading books in the digital era.
The active participation and coordination of all students in the program were commendable. As part of the event, students engaged in book reading activities to support and promote the theme. Asla P designed a creative poster based on the theme ‘पढ़ें और बढ़ें’ (Read and Grow). The program concluded with closing remarks by Dilna Ch.
