Grand Alumni Meet "Priyamanu Unity"
The Unity College Alumni Association (UCAA) organized a Grand Alumni Meet "Priyamanu Unity", to facilitate, consolidate and coordinate Alumni Activities at KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri at CH Auditorium on 8th October 2022. The alumni meet is to reconnect with the Alumni and celebrate their success and various achievements. The Alumni started arriving in college by 09.30 a.m. and they were received by the registration team. The Alumni Meet started with a welcome address by the alumni association treasury Dr. A K shahina Mol A.K. Beloved principal, Dr. Muhammed Basheer Ummathur, presided over the function. The meet was inaugurated by Shabna Hasker, ‘Life Style Vlogger’ and Alumni B.Com. CA, 2004-07 Batch. Previous year Report were presented by Mrs. Suhada KM., Secretary, UCAA. Eng. O. Abdul Ali (Manager), Dr. C Saidalavi and Prof. P.N. Abdul Rahman(Former Principals), Dr. Abdul Majeed C. (Former Head, Department of Commerce), Dr. Abdul Salam, (Former Head, Department of Botany), Dr. I.P. Abdul Razak (Former Head, Department of Zoology), Dr. Abdul Nasar V.P. (Former Head, Department of Commerce), Dr. A. I .Yahya, Associate Professor and Head, University of Calicut, Dr. Moideen Thottassery (Former Head, Department of History), Dr. K. Fousi, Head, Department of Zoology and College Council Secretary, Mrs. Jaseena C., Assistant Professor and Staff Secretary, Department of History, Mr. Basheer Hussain Thangal, NTS Secretary, Korambayil Ahamed Haji Memorial Unity Women’s College, Manjeri were felicitated the program. Antidrug pledge were taken and the oath was read by Poornima R., Assistant Professor of English and UCAA Member. New members of the Alumni association were elected during the meet in presence of Reterning Officer T. T. Abdul Razak., Associate Professor and Head, Department of Commerce. Distribution of Alumni Scholarship and Sponsorship, Honoring Ceremony, Union Members Meet with UCAA Executive Members, ‘UNITREE’ and Department wise meeting were also held during the event. Around 500 Alumni were gathered for the event. Mrs. Haseena Jasmin C.K., Assistant Professor of Commerce and Member, Unity College Alumni Association (UCAA) proposed the vote of thanks.
