International Seminar on “Recent Advances in Industrial Mathematics and Application"
The Department of Mathematics, KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri in collaboration with the Kerala State Council of Higher Education and I.Q.A.C organized an international seminar entitled “Recent Advances in Industrial Mathematics and Applications” during 26-27 August 2022. The two-day program started on 26-th morning with the inaugural ceremony at the college Auditorium. Dr. Safeer Pandikkadavath, Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, NIT Calicut, performed the official inauguration of the seminar.
College principal Dr. Muhammed Basheer Ummathur presided over the function. Mr. Abdul Rof V, Head of the Department of Mathematics delivered the welcome speech and Shafana Liya V.P, Association Secretary, offered vote of thanks. College Management Committee Member Prof. P.N. Abdurrahiman, Mathematics faculty members Ms. Ashitha P A and Dr. Bajeel P.N, I.Q.A.C representative Dr. Usman A, Statistics department faculty Ms. Farsana M, Ms. Fida Sherin, Ms. Murshida and mathematics students from various colleges were participated. In the inaugural address, Dr. Muhamed Safeer Pandikkadavath stressed the relevance of Applied Mathematics, main theme of the seminar, in today’s world.
In various sessions, Mohammad Raees (Tally Solutions Bangalore), Dr. Jicy (Christ College Bangalore), Aysha Bint Seyd (Analyst, London), Murali Mohan (LIC Development Officer), Mr. Rasin R.S (Data Analyst), Dr.Arun R (CEO Optind Solutions Pvt. Ltd), Dr.Bajeel P.N, presented and spoke on various topics in the sessions.
The two-day international seminar was concluded with remarks from Mr. Hamras Ahmed, Department of physical education, and Mr. Kanniyath, non-teaching staff representative, as well as a closing address by Mr. Abdul Rof V.
