Korambayil Ahamed Haji Memorial Unity Women’s College in Manjeri witnessed a momentous occasion as it hosted its Convocation Ceremony on Monday, March 4, 2024. The ceremony, marked by a blend of tradition and modernity, celebrated the academic achievements of its graduating students.
The event commenced with a solemn prayer, setting the tone for the day’s proceedings. Welcoming the distinguished guests and participants, the registration process ensued, ensuring the smooth flow of the ceremony.
The inaugural session commenced with Dr. Shahina Mol A K, IQAC Coordinator, delivering an inspiring address, emphasizing the importance of academic excellence and empowerment. This was followed by the presidential address delivered by Dr. Muhammed Basheer Ummathur, the esteemed Principal of the college, who highlighted the college’s commitment to nurturing future leaders.
The ceremony gained further prominence with the insightful inaugural address by the Guest of Honour, Dr. M Nasser, Pro Vice Chancellor of the University of Calicut, whose words resonated with the audience, inspiring them to strive for excellence in their respective fields. The felicitation segment saw esteemed personalities such as Adv. U A Latheef, MLA and General Secretary of management committee, Jb. O. Abdul Ali, Manager, and Muhammed. P alias Nani, management representative, gracing the occasion with their presence.
The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of medals and graduation certificates to the deserving students, recognizing their hard work and dedication. The atmosphere was filled with pride and joy as the graduates walked across the stage, symbolizing the fulfillment of their academic journey.
