In connection with World Population Day, the PG department of Home Science organized a poster- making competition for the college students on July 15. The theme of the competition was “A world of 8 billion: Ensuring rights and choices for all”. The programme was conducted in the Textile lab at 11:45am to 12:45pm. Five students participated in the competition and the posters were judged by Dr. N. V. Fathimathu Zuhara (Department of Home Science), Dr. Fouzi (Department of Zoology) and Dr. Shamseera (Department of Chemistry). Ms. Thasliya, B. A. English student got first prize in the competition. The programme was coordinated by Mrs. Nishidha Haridas, Assistant Professor on Adhoc, Department of Home Science and Ms. Shana, I M Sc Home Science (Nutrition & Dietetics).
