World Arthritis day is a global awareness day held every year on 12 October. In connection with this, the PG Department of Home Science conducted a community outreach programme on 25th October, 2022 at Koolamadom Anganawadi, Narukara. Mrs.Shirin E. K, III Sem M.Sc. Home Science conducted an awareness class on ‘Arthritis and its remedial measures. After the talk, an exercise session was also conducted for the participants. A brochure on arthritis was circulated among the members. Mrs. Udaya (Anganwadi Teacher) delivered a vote of thanks for the programme. The programme was coordinated by Mrs. Nishidha Haridas, Assistant Professor (Adhoc), and the student coordinator was Ms. Rashida Banu, III Sem M.Sc Home Science (Nutrition and Dietetics).
