The PG department of Chemistry of KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri had conducted a Webinar on “Paristhithiyum Jalasthithiyum” as the third session of the Community Outreach Programme of this academic year on Sunday, 6th November 2022 at 2.30 pm. The participants include all the chemistry students, common people near the school and family members, staff members of our college and the local people of nearby villages. The Resource person of the session was Dr. Sajeesh A.K, Quality Manager, Quality Control District Laboratories, KWA, Waynad. Dr. Deepa K (Assistant Professor, PG department of Chemistry) welcomed the participants. Principal Dr. Muhammad Basheer Ummathur presided over the function Hassan Kolakkadan Former Ward Counsellor & PTA Executive felicitated the function. The presentation was based on the importance of water quality parameters, importance of saving water, purification methods, safety measures and awareness about the refilling of wells etc. The webinar concluded at 4.30 PM by the vote of thanks of Dr. Jasna V.C (Assistant Professor, PG Department of Chemistry and Programme Coordinator).
