As part of ‘ International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, the PG Department of Home Science organised a short film show on 26th June 2023, at the Digital Studio. Two short films were shown on the theme of drug abuse among students. The main aim of this day was to strengthen action and cooperation in achieving a world free of drug abuse. All the second-year degree students, first- and second-year PG students, and department faculties participated in the programme. Dr. Annie Ninan, Associate Professor, PG Dept. of Home Science, read the pledge to “Say Yes to Life and No to Drugs” given by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. All the students and faculties took the pledge, and everyone got an e-certificate for the pledge. Ms. Loosiya KP (Assistant Prof. Adhoc, PG Dept. of Home Science) and Nasma PP (2nd Sem MSc Home Science-Nutrition & Dietetics) were the faculty and student coordinators, respectively.
