As part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations on the 75th Anniversary of Indian Independence, Korambayil Ahamed Haji Memorial Unity Women’s College IQAC, History Department and NSS Units jointly built the Freedom Wall on 12 th August 2022. The students depicted scenes of the National Freedom Struggle and different scenes of the Malabar Struggle at the Freedom Wall. The mural painting covers an area of 200 feet. Principal,Dr. Muhammed Basheer Ummathur inaugurated the programme in which about fifty students from ten departments participated. Manager, Engineer. O. Abdul Ali, IQAC Coordinator, Dr. Shahinamol A.K., Head of the History Department, Mr. Shabeermon M., N.S.S. Program Officer, Dr. V. Hikmatullah led the programme.
