The Adventure Club allows students to procure holistic personality development and tap into their fun side that promotes venturing beyond the comfort zone and exploring new things they would be normally reluctant of. The club aims to cater the students’ ability to experience rough terrain and face various challenges and adverse conditions with confidence and smartness. The activities of the adventure club inculcate social commitment and responsibility that aids students in encountering challenges during natural disasters like flood, landslides, earthquakes, etc. The club activities also envisage interaction with backward communities especially tribal villages living in remote mountain settlements, and this can provide out-of-curriculum care in a safe and healthy environment. The club is expected to inculcate a spirit of adventure among the youth by organizing expeditions, trekking, mountaineering, etc. Thus, the learning community can grow physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually.
