The PG and Research Department of English at KAHM Unity Women’s College, organised the PG Students’ webinar on the topic “Twenty First century Literature: Trends and Techniques” on 30 March 2023. The keynote address of the webinar was delivered by Dr. Sonya J. Nair, Assistant Professor and Head of English at All Saints College, Thiruvananthapuram. She spoke on the topic “literature of the Twenty -First century: Texts and contexts”. The Plenary session was handled by Ms. Sahira kizhakkepeedika, Research Scholar of English at Farook College, Calicut and spoke on the topic “Human ceases to be the “measure of all things’: Transhumanism and Posthumanism in 21st Century Literature” The inaugural session of the Webinar was presided over by the HOD of English Dr Shahina Mol A. K. Principal Prof. Dr. Muhammad Basheer Ummathur inaugurated the event. Paper presentations by PG students of English was held in the afternoon session. The session was chaired by Dr. Shanavas Pattuppara, Assistant Professor of English, Govt. College, Mankada. The event was coordinated by Ms. Sangeeta K, Assistant Professor of English.
