Papier is a new initiative by the Chemistry Association introduced on 19 August, 2022 introduced with an aim of recycling the waste papers. It has a number of other environmental benefits besides, saving trees from being cut down. Dr. Deepa K, Assistant Professor of Chemistry delivered a talk on the importance of collecting and recycling of paper. Ms. Minha, Chemistry Association Secretary inaugurated the waste paper collection by putting collected waste paper in specially prepared Papier bins. Specially prepared bins have been placed in the department, as well as in all the Chemistry classrooms for the purpose.
