Cleaning our surroundings on Gandhi Jayanti is a wonderful way to honor Mahatma Gandhi’s principles of cleanliness and self-sufficiency. It’s a meaningful way to contribute to your community and the environment.
On behalf of Gandhi Jayanti, The NCC Army Wing of KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri conducted cleaning program ‘Ek Ghanta Ek Tarikh’ as part of Swacchtha Hi Sewa. Total 106 cadets cleaned their home and surroundings on 1st October 2023 between 10:00 am and 11:00 AM. Involving in cleaning activities on this day not only instills a sense of civic responsibility but also educates them about Mahatma Gandhi’s principles of cleanliness and self-discipline. It’s an opportunity for them to take active steps toward a cleaner and more sustainable world, nurturing hope for a better tomorrow. ANO Lt. Loosiya KP and SUO Ayisha Risni K coordinatered the cleaning programme respectively.
