As a part of World Environment Day 2023 celebration, Department of Botany, KAHM Unity Women’s College organized ecofriendly paper seed pen making workshop to all UG and PG students on 8th June 2023. The workshop not only educated the participants about the detrimental effects of plastic pens but also provided them with a practical opportunity to create eco-friendly alternatives and to aware the importance of planting seeds to nurture greenery. Seed pens made by students were distributed to Principal Prof. Muhammad Basheer Ummathur and all teaching and non teaching staffs of the college. Dr. Faseela P., Dr. Deepa P., Dr. Gouthami and Rahila K coordinated the program.
