Earn while learn programme is an initiative by the PG Dept. of Home Science for the students with the objective to make the them self-sustained during their time of studies for getting work experience and providing hands-on training while studying. In this programme, the students have the facility to put their stalls on every Friday from 12.30 to 2 pm. On 15th July 2022, Second semester MSc Home Science (Nutrition and Dietetics) students arranged a ‘Pop-a-Corn’ food stall in front of APJ Abdul Kalam Block at 12.30pm. They prepared different varieties of popcorn such as Butter, Chocolate, Caramel, Normal and Masala popcorns in the Nutrition Lab and kept them in the arranged stall for sale. Teachers and students from various departments visited the stall and all the items were sold. The students gained good profit from the stall. A part of their profit was donated to the palliative fund of the college.
