The PG Department of Home Science, on 11th August 2022, conducted a debate on the topic ‘Women, The Family and Freedom’, as a part of the Independence day celebration. The aim of the programme was to hone public speaking skills of the students and teach them to be articulate while expressing their thoughts and opinions. The debate revealed many aspects of women’s freedom. Ms. Anshiya C.M. and Ms. Mubashira A.K. of II Sem M.Sc Home Science (Nutrition and Dietetics) were selected as the best debaters. The programme was organized by the Association Secretary- in- charge Ms. Rishana., III Sem. B Sc Family & Community Science and Ms. Shahla Karuthedath, Assistant Professor (Adhoc).
