The International Commerce Day celebration “ComVerve” at KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, was a resounding success, igniting a spark of enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit among the students. The event, held on 07-082023 Monday, witnessed the august presence of esteemed guests Dr. Priyalakshmi PN from NSS College, Manjeri, and Ms. Sunita K from Government Arts and Science College, Mankada. The inaugural ceremony commenced with a warm welcome speech by TT Abdul Razak, followed by an inspiring address by Dr. K Fousi, the principal in charge, who emphasized the importance of nurturing creativity and business acumen among the students.
The highlight of the event was the “Unity Fete”, where the students organized an impressive array of stalls, showcasing their creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial flair. The stalls featured a diverse range of handcrafted products, innovative business concepts, and various services, capturing the attention of the attendees and reflecting the remarkable talents of the students.
To further engage and challenge the students, a series of exciting competitions were organized, including the intense ‘BIZZBUZZ’ business quiz, the thrilling ‘HAWK EYES’ Treasure Hunt, and the artistic ‘LogIn’ logo design competition. These competitions not only provided a platform for friendly competition but also helped in fostering teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among the participants.
In the afternoon session, the students had the privilege of attending an insightful and informative class on ‘Digital Marketing’ by Mr. Naushadali PK, HOD of the Department of Arabic and a seasoned trainer. Through this session, the students gained valuable insights into the dynamic world of digital marketing, learning about the latest trends, strategies, and tools that are essential for success in the ever-evolving business landscape.
