Project Hub

PTA of the year 2018-19 has installed five desktop computer systems for the sole purpose of the DTP works of UG and PG project reports of students who do not have their own facility to do the same. This Project Hub is inside the general library.

Network Resource Centre

To keep abreast with the changing scenario in higher education, employment and research, a Network Resource Centre is set up in the campus. The centre functioning in the college library has broad band internet facility, accessible to all students and staffs. It caters to the academic needs of the students and the professional needs of the teachers through its facilities and helps in furthering their capacities in the use of multimedia in learning or teaching activities respectively. The Network Resource Centre is a major knowledge hub which is also a leveller of opportunities which make information, knowledge, etc. available to all democratically and this is a tool of social and educational empowerment.

Internet

College has an internet system having a speed of 40mbps in collaboration with BSNL. 50% of the total costs have been bearing by the BSNL. However the balance amount is remitted by the College.

Smart Classrooms

Smart classrooms cultivate education by opening doors to digital teaching and learning methods for both the teachers and the students by coordinating latest advancements in technology with academics. The smart classrooms provide a digital classroom atmosphere with internet access and is equipped with projectors and multimedia devices for e-learning. Presently one room has been arranged as smart room with Interactive Active Board for common use. In addition to this, each department has been provided with one ICT enabled room. The enhanced learning experience aids in the overall development of the stakeholders.

Reprographic Centre

Library is a centre of academic activities by making its resources available to students, faculty, and other staff members for their curricular, research and general information needs. The college runs a multi-purpose reprographic centre in the library with computers, printer, scanner and a photostat machine which is open during the working hours. The internet-enabled system is worth assisting students and teachers reproduce academic materials and is friendly with contemporary technological gadgets. The students and faculty need not go outside the campus for these facilities and ensures maximum convenience to both. Thus, it is able to take care of quite a large scale of operations and ensures the needs and necessities are satisfied as and when required.

Video Conference Room

In the college there is a special room with video conference facility. 18 seats are arranged with air-conditioned facility. College management committee meeting, staff council meeting and other meetings are convened here.

College has enlarged UPS facilities in to 30KV (10KV + 10KV + 5KV + 3KV + 2KV).

CCTV

The CCTV facility provides the best security and surveillance service to protect the members of the institution as well as the property. It creates a safe environment, protection, legal compliance and support, deterrence, investigation, and evidence for the campus. Maintaining adequate security in the college is utmost important to ensure the safety of the students, their belongings, faculty, staff, and college property. CCTV Surveillance cameras are installed at common points like the entrances, verandas, examination halls, cafeteria, and the library. A total of 20 cameras are installed including 4 in the library and 1 in the examination hall as specified by the University. There are two monitoring points one in the Principals Chamber and the other in the library’s cabin.
