Nineth Lecture on ‘Alumni Lecture Series’ was held on 24th September 2022 conducted by PG Department of Chemistry, KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri on the auspicious occasion of ‘30th Anniversary Celebrations’. This lecture was conducted through online platform- google meet at 2.00 pm. The main guest of the event was Dr Sreejalpakshmi PV, Post- doctoral fellow, aquaculture research group, moredu Research Institute Scotland UK.She is a former student of our department in the batch 1998-2001. The programme started with the welcome speech by Dr. Jyothi. P, Associate Professor and Head, PG Department of Chemistry, KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri. Dr. Muhamed Basheer Ummathur, Principal of the College presided over the function.The topic of the lecture was ” Higher Education and Research Possibilities Abroad “. She explained about the courses in which students can join after their UG or PG. she explained the possibilities of getting extra facilities abrad. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Jyothi.P. Associate Professor and Head, PG Department of Chemistry, KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri. and the programme was hosted by Ms. Minha of 3rd Semester B.Sc. Chemistry.Dr. Jamsheena V., Assistant Professor, PG Department of Chemistry, delivered the vote of thanks. About 50 students participated in the programme and the session came to an end by 3.20pm.
